In The Shop

Where The
Boards Get Built.

Cutting, fitting, sanding, finishing and all the little details that happen before a finished Cedar Street set ever makes it out the door.

From Lumber To Finished Set

01

Mill & Cut

Material gets squared, measured and cut so the build starts with consistent pieces instead of fighting the lumber later.

02

Fit & Assemble

Frames, tops, legs and support pieces are fitted together with the details handled before finish work begins.

03

Design & Finish

Stain, graphics and clear coats are layered together so the finished look feels intentional instead of added on.

04

Final Check

Edges, hardware, finish and overall fit get one more look before the set leaves the shop.

Finish Work

The Part You
Actually See.

A lot of the personality comes together during finishing. That is where stain, graphics and clear coat stop being separate steps and start becoming one finished board.

  • Surfaces are prepped before graphics and clear coat.
  • Stain is used as part of the design, not just background color.
  • Edges and corners are worked by hand before final finish.
  • Each layer gets checked before the next one goes on.

Under The Surface

The Stuff That
Doesn't Show In Photos.

The frame, leg fit, support and joinery are not the flashy part of a custom set. They are the part that decides whether the finished board feels solid or cheap.

Frame PrepMaterial squared and prepared before final assembly.
SupportReinforcement matched to the construction level.
Leg FitLegs fitted so the set sits and folds the way it should.
Edge WorkEdges rounded and smoothed before the finish is complete.
